Dr. Gayle Rotmil | Board Member

Gayle Rotmil is a general pediatrician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia’s

Roxborough office. She grew up playing softball and baseball--she played competitively

through high school, and recreationally throughout her adult life. Gayle started playing softball

in the PALS league in 2023. She was very happy to find a league that combined her love for the

game with giving back to the community.

Gayle is a Jersey girl at heart--she was born and raised in Marlboro, New Jersey. She

earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Miami, her medical degree at

Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed her pediatric residency at Lurie

Children’s Hospital in Chicago. She has played recreational softball in all these places, and is

always on the look-out for a good batting cage.

Gayle lives with her fiancé Mike and their dog Jetta in Fishtown. In her free time, she

enjoys exploring the Philly foodie scene, playing tennis (and softball of course), binging reality

TV shows, and going to the beach.
