    Jonnaé McClain | Board Member

    Jonnaé McClain is a teacher of math and science to middle years students with the School District of Philadelphia. She has nearly eighteen years of experience in the field of education, having previously served approximately 10 years in a range of roles including Director of School Age Programs at Methodist Services, a non-profit agency. She has also volunteered as the site coordinator of Harcum College’s I-LEAD associate’s degree program in West Philadelphia working with adults in the community.

     

    Jonnaé has played competitive softball for nearly 30 years and has coached a multitude of young athletes in basketball and softball at school-based and community skills clinics in the NJ/PA area. She joined Philadelphia Adult League Softball (PALS) in 2014 and has participated in all of the league's international service trips including two projects in Belize and a project in Sierra Leone, as well as a planning trip to Sierra Leone to help design the inaugural group trip there.

     

    Jonnaé obtained a bachelor of science degree in Teacher Education from Drexel University where she also played Division I softball. She is from Bloomfield, New Jersey and currently lives in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania.
