    Sam Romain | Board Member

Sam Romain is a lifelong fan of baseball and softball. Growing up, he cherished summer trips to Jacobs Field in Cleveland and playing for local and travel baseball teams. Sam studied Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State University and works as a data analyst with the University of Pennsylvania while pursuing a graduate degree in School and Mental Health Counseling from the Graduate School of Education. Sam's goal is to help young people find innovative paths to happiness through reliability, authenticity, and kindness.

In 2021, Sam relocated to Philadelphia from Cleveland, OH. Shortly after moving, he began playing in Philadelphia Adult League Softball (PALS). The league provided fun competition, friendship, and an opportunity to participate in his new community. He has since assisted with the facilitation of USA Quickball camps in West Philadelphia and overseas during a Change Up Sports volunteer trip to Belize in 2023. Outside of sports, Sam's passions include technology, science fiction, and alternative rock music.
